San Francisco Public Library’s Talk Show Style Series, Booked & Beautiful, Returns This May & June

The Hormel LGBTQIA Center of San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) presents the second and third episodes of Booked & Beautiful, a recurring series of unfiltered, unapologetically Queer and Trans-focused programs in the style of TV talk shows. Hosted by Bay Area artist and personality SNJV, these free events take place on May 27 at 6 p.m. and June 24 at 6 p.m. in the Koret Auditorium at the Main Library.

"Building on the success of the inaugural program, we are energized and beyond excited to continue to celebrate our vibrant Queer and Trans community with the continuation of this new talk show-style program," says Hormel Center program manager Cristina Mitra. "It is exactly the right combination of joy and community that we need to uplift us in these times, and we could not be happier to bring these kinds of dynamic experiences to the library."

"Booked & Beautiful gives the community a space to bask in the glory of all that is Queer and Trans,” says host SNJV. “Our community is a flower garden, and I'm so honored to share a bouquet of love with the audience."

Booked & Beautiful host SNJV (pronounced: sun-jeev), mistress of many arts, brings his sparkle and shine to the Library through storytelling, performances, videos and interactions with the audience. The second episode features Taipei, a digital creator and fashion and beauty history expert. The third episode features Tito Soto, an iconic performer and producer known as the “Drag Prince of the West Coast.” Hold on to your wigs!
